Humidipak is a patented technology that provides the world’s first and only 2-way humidity control for packages and containers. It will bring herbal medicine to the designated Relative Humidity (RH) by either adding or subtracting the necessary moisture content. Our supplier discovered Humidipak’s technology through premium cigar applications, then conceived the idea of applying the technology to herbal medicines, supplements and medical blends. Our supplier approached Humidipak and opened discussions regarding their concept. An extensive period of independent research was conducted by the Boveda folks before we determined that Humidipak technology is applicable to herbal medicine applications.
Humidipak continually responds to changes in ambient temperature and humidity by adding or absorbing purified water vapor—as needed—to maintain a specific, pre-determined level of relative humidity. This ensures that the enclosed product maintains a consistent and standardized weight per volume of material. Under optimum conditions Humidipak will last six months. Humidipak is maintenance free.
